The costs for the organrecipient is covered by the basic plan of your health insurance. As a tax-payer and health insurance-payer, you are financing the transplantation through other distribution.
The non-reimbursed amount will be assumed by the transplanting hospital. As a matter of course, there will be no costs for the donor's relatives.
