The Swiss Donation & Transplant Association (SDTA) is holding their 1st Symposium on Donation & Transplantation 28th January 2011 from 10:00 - 12:00 at Hotel Metropole, Interlaken, in association with the 9th Swiss Transplantation Society meeting. Admission is free of charge.

Speakers include Prof. David Le Breton (University of Strasbourg, France), Mrs Anne Bärbel Blaes-Elise (Homburg-Saar, Germany) and Prof. Sabina de Geest (Basel, Switzerland) under the chair of Dr. Franz Immer, director of Swisstransplant and Dr. Yvan Gasche, president of the Swiss Society of Intensive Care Medicine.

The SDTA was founded in 2008 by the members of the Local Organizing Committee, with the fruit of the benefits of the European Transplant Coordinators Organization (ETCO) congress in Geneva 2005, under the presidency of Prof. P. Suter. Our aim is to offer education to any health professional implicated or interested in organ & tissue donation and transplantation.
