HOW DO I RECORD MY DECISION?

You can record your decision on whether your organs and/or tissue should be donated online using your smartphone, tablet or PC. Just follow these simple steps.

From your smartphone or tablet:

  1. Enter your details and record your decision on organ and tissue donation.
  2. Take a selfie so you can be identified.
  3. Sign your entry there and then on your device.

Swisstransplant will then check your entry. We will ask you to choose a new password for the next time you log in so that you can change or delete your entry at any time.

From your PC:

  1. Enter your details and record your decision on organ and tissue donation.
  2. Print out the data sheet showing your personal details and your decision. Then sign it, scan it or take a photograph, and upload it to your profile with a copy of your identity card or passport.
    OR:
    Print out the data sheet with your personal details and your decision, sign it and send it to Swisstransplant, Nationales Organspenderegister, Effingerstrasse 1, 3011 Bern, Switzerland.
    OR:
    Swisstransplant can print out the data sheet with your decision and send it to you. Check your decision is shown correctly and sign your data sheet. Then return it to Swisstransplant in the enclosed returns envelope. Once it arrives, they will scan it into the system.

Swisstransplant will then check your entry and send you confirmation by e-mail. The entry is then valid – you are free to change it at any time.

Changing/removing your decision

Use your login details (e-mail address and password) to log in to the register again. You can change or remove your decision (after validation of your entry) at any time.
